So, here are the people who basically inspire me to create. I love them all dearly.
For me, adding Alex Pardee to this list was a no brainer. He's my favourite artist, hands down. His arwork is just.....holy shit. Not of this world. I have no idea where that man get's all of his ideas from, but he's an artistic genius. The colourful monsters he creates are like something out of a child's nightmare; illustrated with all of the colours of the rainbow. You won't find any sullen, black and red pieces by this guy. That, coupled with the personal struggles with depression and medication from his teenage years that have only made him stronger, just make him a very nice and relatable guy.I have so many favourite paintings by him, it's hard to pick. I do love this one a lot though <3
YOU'LL KNOW HIM FROM: Sucker Punch's artwork, album sleves for The Used
& Aiden & Cage.
Paul Duffield

I'm pretty sure not many people have heard of this guy, but his work is so cool. He's a great concept artist, and is fantastic at showing difficult emotions or metaphors for problems in the world through his art. I find myself blown away at the simple, yet transfixing beauty of the people he draws. Please, check him out. Ever since i found him, i've been hooked.
No, you're not going crazy. That is indeed the image of Kurt Cobain shooting up heroin.
See, what i love about Steve is, he always captures the person's personality and emotion perfectly. It's why his graphic novel Kurt Cobain: Godspeed is my favourite graphic novel of all time. What i've shown isn't a very good example, but *shrugs*. He's very good at what he does, and my Kurt Cobain drawing on the Artwork page is based around his style of picking emotion over actual likeness. Through out the Kurt Cobain Graphic, he produces these awesome dream sequences, which i truly do applaud him for. It's a fantastic read, i do suggest you pick up. Also, to my knowlege, he is now doing commisions.
